PNA & The Global Business Calendar

I recently attended two networking events: The Premier Networking Alliance's Lexus Get Together & The Global Business Calendar's Kick Off Holiday Event.

I learned of PNA from Cliff Fruithandler, my softball buddy.  Cliff is a chiropractor.

When I arrived at the PNA Lexus Networking Event, I was very fortunate to bump into Al Otero.  Al is terrific.  I knew him when he was the Broward Chamber of Commerce's Chairman.  Now he is the chairman of the Global Business Calendar.  Al and I had a wonderful conversation.  He offered me very powerful networking advice and introduced me to several people.  It is vital that anyone interested in being successful at networking speak with Al first!

Here is the beauty of networking:  Al introduced me to Dr. Lina Narbone, a Sunrise Dentist.  Lina is super nice.

Walking around, I met Denise Brody and psychologist.  I then met Robert Masterson, a information systems consultant with Windward Development Services, Inc.

Later, I met two more psycholgists, Dr. Lawrence Levy and Dr. Jose Perez.  They introduced me to Steve McCarthy, who performs mergers & acquisitions with Transworld.

At the end of the event, I saw another gentleman I played softball with--Larry Schwarz, Financial Representative with MetLife.  Finally, I met Nathaly Muller on my way out.  She is an independent distributor for Nu Skin.

Last night, The Global Business Calendar had an event in Sunrise, which my business partner and I attended.

I met a wonderful entrepreneur, Roger Lander.  He is a real estate broker, piano teacher and performer, and philanthropist.  Nearby, I met Gaetan Chapoteau, who provides VoIP and PBX services for businesses.  I definitely plan to make an appointment with him to see what efficiency and cost savings services he offers; whereby, I can provide the benefits to my clients.

Al introduced me to Dwight T. Elliot, MS, JD, who is the Campus Dean of Strayer University.  I also had the privilege of meeting Dwight's assistant, Laura Bonitto.  Strayer is a university that offers both virtual and physical learning up to the Masters level.  Laura introduced me to Dr. Elaine Duval, who is the Communications Director of Green World, the designers of less expensive, more stable, and greener concrete.

On my way out I met Karlene Facey, MBA, who is a Marketing Consultant.  She provides branding, website, and other marketing solutions for businesses.  I also met the President of the Global Business Calendar, Maria-Renee Davila, MBA and her Public Relations Developer, Ivelisse Santana and CTO, Derrick McCray.

CONCLUSION: Through networking, you can meet many interesting people and have a wonderful time!
